Self Guided Paddling

Navigate the pristine waters of the Columbia River at your own pace. Choose from canoe rentals, kayak rentals, stand up paddleboard rentals, and even pedal boat rentals and create your own custom eco tour. Stop by for an hour, an afternoon, or a full day to soak up the experience.

Our youngest boaters can explore the protected waters of Loon Lagoon, and our more experienced explorers can discoverprime wildlife and bird watching sites while paddling through world class scenery.

Bird watching and wildlife sightings are common on the river. Eagles, osprey, herons, beavers, otters, deer and bears are among the 350 species of birds and mammals that call the Columbia River Valley home.

Columbia Wetlands Adventures provides the following options:

  • Canoe rentals
